Vol 08

Well here we still are and with a new volume filled with great material. This one has put up a good fight to be born. Getting all the footage from the 0110 concert was not easy. Not easy at all. A lot of people had a bit of it but no one had the full thing. But we made it and here on Vol08 you can find the full broadcast of the dEUS gig on the 0110 event. A BIG THANK YOU for ALL who made it possible. Remember that Via and What We Talk About were not broadcast and also Youth Against Fascism was not broacast in full.

This is the full tracklist for Vol08

01 - 1995 dEUS vs X-Legged Sally At Roxy
02 - 1997 MCM Buzz
03 - 2006 0110 Antwerpen
04 - 2008 Spraakmakers-Tom Barman-Nick Cave
05 - 2008-04-03 The Architect-LuxXL
06 - 2008-04-16 The Architect-dewerelddraaitdoor
07 - 2008-04-20 VPstudioconcert-Belgiannews
08 - 2008-04-21 VPstudio-rodeloper-21042008
09 - 2008-07-04 Les Eurockéennes de Belfort 2008
10 - 2009-02-22 Humo's Pop Poll

I find this volume very interesting not only because of the 0110 but also the Nick Cave interview is a nice piece, the Roxy footage is GREAT! Great version of Via. The tv coverage is nice to watch a pitty i don't understand a word :-) but the interviews should be nice. Les Eurockéennes shows a cool band on stage and finishing with Humo's, even if it is only one song, it is a nice touch for a volume 09. What do you guys think? Footage of the summer shows should be on air soon. So, can i ask for someone to record it and deliever it or produce vol 09? Does anybody have more old material that is considered relevant to produce more volumes? It would be great if we could do 10 volumes of it. Who's up to it?
Meanwhile enjoy this one.

P.S. - I see and were also told that are people stuck dowloading previous volumes, specially vol04. Can somebody help? Please?
oh and there is no cover yet for this one but expect one soon.
Cheers

Volume 07

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4991176/dEUS_A_Shocking_Lack_of_Copyright_Vol_07_DVD

here it is for your pleasure volume 07
And that concludes my initial idea for this series of DVDs.
As i said previously there is a volume 08 with extras waiting to be finished. I am only missing "There Will Be No Next Time" from the 0110 concert to close this issue. And i am still waiting on a kind soul to provide a good quality clip of this song. That is all i ask.

I am thinking on redoing the Zita Swoon collection after this one but still some issues to think about...

So, enjoy this. Produce other volumes if you like. If i have new material i will. And please seed this. There are leechers waiting for seeds on old volumes and now i am no longer able to help on this. So, please seed as much as you can.
Cheers

Volume 06

As i said here is Volume 06

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4930441/dEUS_A_Shocking_Lack_of_Copyright_Vol_06_DVD

the shortest setlist of this collection but the only one where you get 4 complete concerts for your own pleasure. 2006 Kickin' in in full force. Good shows tight band, good songs flowing. A nice volume no doubt about it.
I will try to upload volume 07 and 08 before the new dEUS shows this summer.
Enjoy.

DVD Covers

I forgot to include in the torrent the cover for the last upload.
So, in order not to do the same again here is a link where you can all download the whole pack of covers.

Volume 05

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4921879/dEUS_A_Shocking_Lack_of_Copyright_Vol_05_DVD

Here is the turning point...i consider this Volume very interesting because it documents probably the biggest chnage in dEUS life up to know. In it you will find nice documents of these changes. The footage from 2004 shows a bit of a drifting band already with a new drummer on stage but with GREAT renditions of all time classics. Footage from 2005 & 2006 shows a complete different story :-)
The Tom solo show is a jewel that documents a very interesting approach Tom did to his songs and his influences.

I had a bit of a problem with this DVD that is why it took so long to get to you. Nevertheless it is working but menu it is not so fancy as previous ones. I don't know why, but burning it as it is was the only way i had to make it work. So, i am sorry if something goes wrong(hope not).
Now enjoy it and spread the word. I promise that when uploaded this one Volume 06 will follow right away.

I still ask for some help on this project because i alredy have good footage from the 0110 concert but not the full broadcast of it. So, please people help me out here.
Aswell i would love to have some fresh footage for this. There is already a volume of extras ready to go (waiting on the 0110 footage) but it would be great to get more material from all eras but specially from 2007, 2008, and if possible 2009.
Just drop me a line.
Cheers

Extra material for the project NEEDED!

Does anyone have a good video recording of the 0110 concert in Antwerp? and is willing to share it for the DVD Project? I don't have that one and it is without any doubt an important concert and it should be there in the collection. I am talking about a tv recording with good quality, not YouTube files.
Any other material that you feell should be here or more recent material (2008) please drop me a line to ziggyswoon@gmail.com
Thank You.

Torrents for Vol 01 & Vol 02

Volume 01 and Volume 02 are already being torrented and seeded at The Pirate Bay.
Please, after downloading seed for a while so that the torrent can work for a longer time.

DVD Covers

Moniek Van Slycken produced the dvd covers and we are very happy and very thankfull for it.
Each cover will be made available within the respective torrent. That way everybody gets the "official" cover.

DVD Collection

The collection was produced in a chronological order. Going (almost) through every phase dEUS went by.
All these are double layer dvds and almost all of them goes through 200 minutes of material. There is already a volume 07 with 2008 material but it is not closed yet. There was a lot of material available but some have not so good conditions to make it available on DVD. So, this is it but if anyone has material that want to add drop me a line or create new volumes. Not all my video collection is here but a large amount of it is and a lot of material was traded back when it was fun and people were eagger to do it. And i owe a BIG THANK YOU to all of you that made this possible by trading material with me or simply making it available. I don't have all the names but for sure you know who you are Thank You!

Torrents will be the distribution way this time. Every volume will be uploaded at The Pirate Bay tracker. This tracker was chosen due to be an open one and being so everybody would able to get get the goods.

An IMPORTANT issue in all this process is that all the material made available on these dvds was collected over the years and was never released in any form officially by the band. Also this is a NON-PROFIT project. No one is selling this. If any attempt to do so is detected please take action. This is for trade only. So, please do it by the rules. DON'T SELL THESE DVDS. Support the band by going to concerts and buying their records and merchandise.

Welcome

Aloha, Hello, Olá, Welcome, boys and girls.
For those familiar with this project on the dEUS forum this is the higlight of it. It means distribution will begin. For those arriving here just now a simple explanation is due.
After puting up Let's Get SUEd a tribute cd to dEUS and My Song Belongs To Someone Else ( I Wish It Was Mine) a tribute cd to Zita Swoon, dEUS Maillist and dEUS forum members had the idea of putting up a DVD on dEUS material. dEUS released No More Loud Music dvd and we are thankfull for that but there is more to it than that.
A lot of people have large collections of video material, from tv and bootlegs, and felt it was time that a collection of that material was made available for fans. So, this is the main idea behind this project.
After that, material was collected a name was voted and distribution was planned.
The distribution plan laid unfortunatelly it did not work. Also the first set of dvds that were burned and produced had problems and were not easy to handle. After a long long time (3 years) i decided to try again to put all this together for good. And now here we are.
Hope this will please you and gives you much joy has it did for me putting this up. Just a special word for the band who made all this possible, without them and their music this would not be here. Thank you boys.
